A 3-day, 2-night stage tour where we will travel 120 km and ↑ 3800 m by E-BIKE
TRIP HIGHLIGHTS:

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF WHAT AWAITS YOU:
SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
The Monti Sibillini National Park is one of the most famous and appreciated parks in Italy. Thanks to its uncontaminated nature and an extensive network of trails, the Park has become a very popular destination for all mountain bike enthusiasts.
The beauty of this itinerary has in fact been rewarded by the prestigious magazine Red Bull, indicating it as "one of the 10 MTB routes to do at least once in your life".
ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
For the overnight stay we will rely on two Bike Hotels located near the GAS for both breakfast and dinner. To avoid incurring rivers of tourists during the flowering period we will not stay in Castelluccio, but will only pass by for lunch. All the refuges are equipped for charging E-Bikes.
For the second stage we offer a luggage transport service until the return of the same at the arrival point. Don't forget to stock up on lentils!
PREREQUISITES FOR PARTICIPATION
The itinerary of the trip that we created in collaboration with a team of local guides is not the official version that you find on the Park website or in the directions. The one we will do starts from Visso and is a variant with less altitude difference, km, but above all with much less asphalt.
It is 120km and 3800m of altitude difference to be covered in 3 days! To participate it is therefore necessary to be in excellent physical shape and be used to covering long routes with daily altitude differences exceeding 1400m (with recharging).
1ST STAGE: FROM VISSO TO BOLOGNOLA
34km ↑ 1400m ↓ 700m
After leaving the cars in Visso, located 1h drive from Perugia, you will meet Fabrizio, our local guide with more than ten years of experience. The tour departure time is at 2.30 pm, so that each participant can reach the meeting point in the morning. The first day of the tour awaits us with an ascent to the foot of Monte Acuto that will take us to an altitude of 1800m.
TOUR STAGES:
2nd STAGE: FROM BOLOGNOLA TO CASTELLUCCIO
54 km ↑ 1800 m ↓ 1700 m
The second day of the trip is definitely the most rewarding and challenging. From Bolognola we will reach Monte Fortino and then go around the slopes of Monte Vettore. There are alternating wooded sections and open air passages passing through dirt roads and not very challenging single trails. If you are lucky you will be able to see the horses free to graze.
For lunch we will stop at one of the many refuges located along the route, where it will be possible to charge the E-Bikes.
3rd STAGE: FROM CASTELLUCCIO TO VISSO
34 km & ↑ 750 m ↓ 1300 m
The last stage is undoubtedly the most spectacular. We will pass through the Castelluccio plain within the flowering lentil fields. After a short lunch break, a very long descent awaits us towards Monte delle Rose which exactly divides the Marche and Umbria, until we return to Visso. The return to the starting point is estimated for around 3:00 pm.
