An E-Bike adventure awaits you in stages of 3 days and 2/3 nights to discover the Tuscan coast.
You will stay in 4* and 3* Bike Friendly Agritourisms with breakfast

The first stop is from San Vincenzo to Cala Violina, passing through the magical Etruscan Coast
The second stage goes from Cala Violina to Alberese through the Uccellina Park
On the last day of the tour we will reach Orbetello for lunch and then return to the Riva degli Etruschi Resort in just 1.00h by train!

ETRUSCAN COAST, MAREMMA AND ARGENTARIO
In this eBike Tour in stages we will explore some of the most beautiful coastal stretches in Italy. We will do so by travelling along a stretch of the Tyrrhenian Cycle Route that connects Ventimiglia (Liguria) to Latina (Lazio).
We will pass through a region rich in history such as the Etruscan Coast and Baratti, with the Castle of Populonia. We will enter the Uccellina Park with its medieval towers and centuries-old olive trees. But above all we will see some of the most beautiful and lesser-known beaches in Tuscany.
WHAT AWAITS YOU...
The eBIKE adventure we have created is a 360-degree cycle-tourism trip! 120km of dirt roads and cycle paths overlooking the sea await you to be covered in 3 days! The stages can easily be completed in half a day of pedaling, so that the remaining part of the day can be dedicated to complete relaxation! The farmhouses where you will stay have been selected by the Padbike staff based on their strategic position and the goodness of the cuisine!
LOGISTICS AND PREREQUISITES FOR PARTICIPATION
On this cycling adventure that starts and ends in San Vincenzo, LI, you will have the full support of the Padbike staff with a dedicated Shuttle for the entire duration of the tour! In addition to the luggage transport service for each stage, we offer a pick-up & drop-off service directly from Pisa airport to San Vincenzo thanks to our 9-seater VAN.
It is also possible to rent an E-Bike or an E-Gravel according to your preferences for the entire duration of the tour at only €150 per ebike. Keep in mind that the tour takes place almost exclusively on flat land!
Although the dirt roads and cycle paths that we will ride do not require a high level of technical riding ability, it is highly recommended to have some experience on a bike. So if you ride a bike once a year, this experience is probably not for you!
ACCOMMODATION
& FOOD
For the first night in the case of the 3 days and 3 nights tour we will stay at the 4* Resort Riva degli Etruschi located a few steps from San Vincenzo, on the Etruscan Coast. In the second stage you will stop at a 3* farmhouse with swimming pool located 5 minutes by bike from the famous Cala Violina beach. The third night instead you will stay in a last 3* farmhouse with swimming pool in the immediate vicinity of Alberese.
All accommodations have an excellent restaurant attached or in their immediate vicinity where you can taste some dishes of the Tuscan food and wine culture!
TOUR STAGES:
1. STAGE: FROM SAN VINCENZO TO CALA VIOLINA
44km ↑210m and ↓ 190m
After renting the E-Bikes at our Bike Point in San Vincenzo, let's go!
On this first day of eBike tour we will pass through Baratti and the Rocca di Populonia along the Etruscan Coast until we reach Follonica. Secondary roads and super panoramic cycle paths await you! We also recommend that you keep a swimsuit handy, because you will pass by many places where you can swim.
SUPER PANORAMIC ROADS and RELAX
The itinerary has several points where you can refresh yourself. We will also pass through the town of Follonica and Puntone di Scarlino before reaching the farmhouse located a stone's throw from the famous beach of Cala Violina.
In the afternoon we strongly recommend you to reach this breathtaking beach directly by bike, just 5 minutes from your accommodation. After all, after a long ride a bit of well-deserved relaxation is more than due!
2. STAGE: FROM CALA VIOLINA TO ALBERESE
40km +15km and
↑200m, ↓ 200m
After leaving behind the wonderful beach of Cala Violina, a long stretch of cycle path awaits us until we reach Castiglione della Pescaia and Marina di Grosseto. The tour passes inside the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve where it is possible to see pink flamingos.
Once you have crossed the cycle/pedestrian bridge over the Ombrone river you arrive at Alberese.
UCCELLINA REGIONAL PARK
Depending on the pace of the group, it is possible to decide to have a lunch break directly upon arrival (Alberese) or in one of the many coastal villages located along the Tyrrhenian Cycle Route.
After arriving at the 3* Agriturismo we recommend you cool off in the pool! In the late afternoon you can't miss a short circular tour of about 15km inside the Uccellina Park.
The Park road is entirely cycle-friendly and passes through centuries-old olive groves and watchtowers! You will feel like you are on the set of Lord of the Rings!
3. STAGE: FROM ALBERESE TO ORBETELLO
36km ↑150m and ↓ 150m
The last stage of the Tuscany Coast E-Bike Tour is also the shortest with only 36km. The route passes almost entirely on cycle paths and dirt roads that follow the coast.
The first stop is Talamone, with its fortress and its small port that rise to protect the gulf.
Leaving Talamone we head towards Giannella, Porto Ercole and finally Orbetello! Here we highly recommend one of the many fish restaurants.
RETURN FROM ORBETELLO TO SAN VINCENZO BY TRAIN
After enjoying a delicious fish-based first course with a view of the Argentario lagoon surrounding Orbetello, it's time to go home!
From Orbetello station you will take the Riva degli Etruschi Line that in just 1:15 h will take you back to San Vincenzo! You can easily bring your bike on board. We at Padbike will be waiting for you at San Vincenzo station with your bags and our VAN. The last night is planned again at Riva degli Etruschi Resort 4*.
